Greensboro Youth Chorus Concert Choir Conductor
LJ Martin is a music educator and conductor in the Triad area. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he received his BM in music education. While at UNCG, he also studied American Sign Language and became interested in the intersection of music and deaf culture. LJ is currently the choral director at Wheatmore High School in Trinity, NC. There, he teaches chorus classes, directs the musical theatre program, and is the advisor for the Tri-M Music Honors Society. He is also on faculty at the Governor’s School of North Carolina where he works in the choral music department. LJ is a member of the National Association for Music Education and an alumni of the Alpha Xi chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon.
