Community Virtual Choir: “The Music of Living” by Dan Forrest

“I want to feel the music of living;
and not fear the sad songs
but from them make new songs
composed of both laughter and tears…”

One more chance to sing with Bel Canto this season!

As our 38th Season draws to a close, we need your help to make the season’s final virtual project a success. We want to include your voice in a new performance of the Bel Canto Community Virtual Choir.  After the success of “Let My Love Be Heard,” “Silent Night,” and the “Hallelujah Chorus,” Conductor Welborn Young has chosen Dan Forrest’s “The Music of Living” to close the season. We hope you will join us!

Joining the Community Virtual Choir and submitting your voice is a breeze!

There are no auditions, and no one will be turned away. Just submit the form at the bottom of this page to register, and we will send you:

  1. Sheet music, practice tracks to help learn your music, and a guide track to sing along with when you record your part.
  2. Tips for recording yourself using the video camera on your phone, tablet, or computer.
  3. Instructions for uploading your video.

Once you are happy with your video, send it to us, and we’ll take care of the rest! (Video submissions are due by May 24.)

Although participation in the choir is free, we hope you will consider making a gift to help cover the cost of making this video. Your gift of any amount will be greatly appreciated. To offset part or all the cost of your and/or others’ participation, you may make a donation here. (Thank you!)
